Trade Ambassador Liliane BLOEM, Belgian representative to EU Trade Policy Committee, will visit Waseda University to speak on the EU & international trade, how the European Union faces current challenges.
As an official of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Bloem has long experience in multilateral economic and trade cooperation in the WTO and the OECD. She has been a full member of the EU Trade Policy Committee for over 10 years, and experienced the transition to the Lisbon Treaty. In this special lecture, she will provide an insightful, up-to-date guide to EU Trade Policy from a practitioner's perspective.
